Meet Our Staff

LIZ – Front Desk Staff

Liz joined the staff in October of 2004 and is an avid quilter.  She, her husband, Barry, and their three children have lived in Brightwaters for over 30 years.  Christopher, her oldest, attended SUNY Binghamton and is now a New York City Police Officer.  Her daughter, Elizabeth, is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and is currently teaching in NYC.  Her youngest, Tori, attended SUNY Farmingdale and is now a dental hygienist in East Islip.  The family enjoys skiing, boating and other outdoor activities. 

Carolyn- Front Desk Staff

Carolyn came to our practice in May of 2018. She came to us with over 20 years of dental reception, insurance submission, and practice management experience. She lives in Lindenhurst with her husband, Scott, and her daughter, Katrina. Her son, Robert, also lives in Lindenhurst, and is an army veteran, and a volunteer fireman for the town. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, biking, bowling, and flying a kite at the beach as often as possible!

Lori- Insurance Coordinator

Lori joined the staff in February 2018. She has worked in orthodontics for over 12 years an Information Technology/Business Administration for over 16 years. She currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from SUNY Old Westbury. Lori is also a landlord who enjoys her 2 rescue cats, interior decorating, cooking, and spending time with her nieces Ava and Elle along with her nephew Salvatore. Lori and her husband, Brett, enjoy trips and travel in addition to relaxing at home in beautiful West Islip.

LORI – Dental Hygienist

Lori has been working for Dr. Tichler and Dr. Abraham since August of 2000.  She graduated from SUNY Farmingdale with a degree in Dental Hygiene.  Lori loves working one on one with our patients and providing them with exceptional oral care.  Lori lives in Port Jefferson with her wonderful husband, Ryan and their beautiful children, John and Reagan.  They enjoy spending as much quality time as they can together and taking fun family vacations.   

Sam- Certified Dental Assistant

Samantha became a part of our staff in April 2010. She graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at BOCES, attended Suffolk Community College, and is a certified and licensed dental assistant. Samantha and her husband, Richie, have a beautiful home in South Amityville. In her free time she enjoys exercising at her local Cossfit gym, drawing, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Leslie- Dental Assistant

 Leslie became a part of our staff in January 2015. She has been in the dental field for over 40 years. Leslie lives in a beautiful home in East Meadow with her husband, Charlie and their cat, Mimi. In her spare time she enjoys reading and volunteering to take care of animals at her local pet store on her days off. She also loves to spend as much time as possible with her granddaughter, Alice. 

Ruth- Certified Dental Assistant

Ruth has been a dental assistant for 23 years and became a certified dental assistant in 2010. She has worked with Dr Jon since 2010 as an assistant as well as assisting in a local pediatric dental office. Ruth is happily married and a mom of 4 beautiful kids, 2 girls and 2 boys, and is also a grandma to 2 very handsome boys. Ruth enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She also loves nature, so she loves to spend as much time as she can outdoors!
