Meet the Doctors

                                                       Howard M. Tichler, DDS

Dr. Tichler received his degree as a doctor of dentistry at Temple University School of Dentistry and went on to Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry where he received his specialty training in orthodontics.

Dr. Tichler holds an appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the division of orthodontics at Columbia University – College of Dental Medicine – Postgraduate Orthodontics.  He teaches the orthodontic residents there a non-surgical technique for complicated open bite cases.  He is excited to have the opportunity to instruct these dentists to use the special wires utilized in this treatment. 

 

 

Jenny E. Abraham, DDS 

Dr. Abraham received her undergraduate degree in biology from the State University of New York at Albany. She went on to become a Doctor of Dental Surgery and complete her advanced degreee and residency in orthodontics at the State University of New York At Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine.

Dr.  Abraham is a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics, a designation earned by doctors who have completed advanced exams and critical review by a panel of nationally respected peers. Only 25% of orthodontists worldwide have currently attained this status.

 

Jonathan E. Schecter, DDS

Dr. Jonathan Schecter joined our practice in 2011.  He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry.  Following a General practice residency at New York University, Dr. Schecter participated in a two-year orthognathic surgical fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan where he was published for assisting with the creation of cutting-edge treatment techniques for children with craniofacial deformities.  He then went on to earn his postgraduate degree in orthodontics from Stony Brook University
