February is... National Children's Dental Health Month! October is a busy month at our office.  After all, it is Orthodontic Health Month! WE MADE THE FRONT PAGE OF SOUTH BAY'S NEIGHBOR!                                        The MARINES were here today to pick up the candy! 1,800 lbs!                                            The Candy Buy Back was great today!  We collected over 1,000 pounds of candy. Here are our costume contest winners:  ALL OF THE COSTUMES LOOKED GREAT! Halloween Candy Buy Back This is our 4th annual event!  We collect candy from all 6 West Islip elementary schools a donate $1 per pound collected to the charity of each schools choice.  Then, the Marines ship the candy overseas to our troops in Afganistan.  The Marines accompany us to each school to pick up the candy.  Our patients can bring in their candy and receive $1 per pound or donate their candy and we will make a donation to Helping Hands.  Click here to view more pictures.                                         At our annual "Patient Appreciation Summer Carnival" Dr. Tichler volunteered, once again, to be dunked to benefit "smileschangelives", a national charity that helps low-income children connect with orthodontists in their community who want to help them.  We are proud to be a part of their program!             Click smileschangelives website   CONGRATULATIONS, LAURA!
